The threat these “copycat” products pose is real: From 1st January 2021, to Dec. 31, 2023, the FDA said it has received over 300 adverse event reports which involves the children and adults who consumed delta-8 THC products. That led the agency to issue its first warning to customers in June 2022.
As reported by HealthDay, the adverse or negative effects include the hallucination and vomiting, tremor, anxiety, dizziness and confusion and loss of consciousness said the agency and almost half of the cases that had involved the hospitalizations or visits for the emergency rooms.
